What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Organize and prioritize activities related to conducting phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical research studies within a military clinic setting
- Review and understand research protocols to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines
- Select and observe subjects while assisting with data analysis and reporting
- Maintain study/test article accountability and oversee data collection procedures
- Enter required data on case report forms (CRFs) and resolve discrepancies as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the state of Maryland
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical research coordination, particularly with FDA-regulated trials
- Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR/AED) certification
- Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
- Maintenance of Certification in Clinical Research Coordination by ACRP or SoCRA
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification encouraged
- Certification in clinical research (e.g., CCRP or CCRA) preferred
- Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) certification preferred
