What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage financial processes for clinical trials, including budget development and negotiation
- Prepare invoices and supporting documentation for submission to sponsors and funding agencies
- Conduct comprehensive Medicare coverage analysis for study-related charges
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective workflow and compliance with quality standards
- Maintain a working knowledge of federal regulations and codes of conduct for human research
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or healthcare-related field; or equivalent experience with 5+ years in a related role
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in billing, accounting, finance, budgeting, or financial analysis
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams within clinical and research environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with clinical trial budgeting and negotiation of financial terms
- Familiarity with clinical trial management systems (CTMS)
- Knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations related to human research
- Background working with pharmaceutical sponsors and research staff
- Experience in managing subject stipends and reimbursements
