What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Principal Investigators in the activation, execution, and management of clinical research studies
- Assist in assessing study feasibility, determining participant eligibility, and establishing guidelines for clinical data collection
- Drive participant recruitment, enrollment, tracking, and data collection for research studies
- Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, sponsor guidance, and university policies related to clinical research
- Serve as a resource providing expert advice on clinical research to the research team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Active clinical licensure required for duties performed by the Clinical Research Nurse
- Current CITI credentials for Human Subjects Protections, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and Clinical Research Coordinator
- Advanced understanding of clinical research management duties from initiation to closeout
- Knowledge of IRB requirements and human subjects protection regulations
- Ability to interpret and apply federal and state laws, sponsor guidance, and compliance notices accurately
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in clinical research or as a Clinical Research Nurse
- Familiarity with multiple data capture/retrieval systems and healthcare delivery systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Previous involvement in training or mentoring other research staff
