What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct reviews of physical or occupational therapy evaluation and treatment documentation
- Perform peer-to-peer communication with treating or supervising PTs and OTs to review therapy care plans for injured workers
- Utilize state and national disability guidelines to assess duration of care and provide clinical recommendations
- Prepare detailed reports and clinical summaries with written support of recommendations for clients
- Collaborate with operations and clinical admin staff to ensure appropriate authorization and maintain communication with nurse case managers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy with an active license as a Physical/Occupational Therapist or Assistant in the United States
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient therapy setting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide comprehensive review reports for clients and meet metrics for review caseload
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the Workers Compensation industry
- Knowledge of industry-standard treatment guidelines
- Experience in performing quality assessments and/or clinical chart reviews
