      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide clinical review support services for client plans, including reviewing and deciding on prior authorization requests
      - Review medication request guidelines for clinical appropriateness and assist in their revision and creation
      - Provide drug information support and research clinical literature documentation to support prior authorization decisions
      - Coordinate and assist with projects related to prior authorization program development and internal/external communications
      - Handle provider, pharmacy, and member calls to complete prior authorization and Peer to Peer requests

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - PharmD and 3+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including 1 year of subject matter expertise in respective areas
      - Current, unrestricted Registered Pharmacist license in any state of the United States
      - Excellent working knowledge of pharmacy services, particularly in a managed healthcare environment
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
      - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult client situations

      - Experience in clinical application of pharmacy practice
      - Familiarity with prior authorization processes and guidelines
      - Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
      - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
      - Participation in local conferences and meetings related to the field
