What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide counseling and support to patients with opioid use disorder
- Maintain target caseloads following state regulations (40-55 patients)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in training and supervision to achieve full certification or licensure
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards in a licensed opiate treatment program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in counseling or a related field
- Must be licensed in the states of TN and VA as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Must have a valid driver's license
- If recovering, three years of continuous verifiable abstinence is required
- No legal impediments to serving in a licensed opiate treatment program
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience treating opioid-addicted patients is preferred
