The Ward 3 East nursing team are a compassionate, enthusiastic team of highly skilled nurses, specialising in cardiac nursing care. A proportion of the Ward 3 East nursing team hold cardiac care postgraduate qualifications. Ward 3 East belongs to the Heart and Lung Service delivered by The Alfred Hospital. Position Summary The Clinical Support and Development Nurse is responsible for leading and coordinating the education and upskilling of Registered and Enrolled Nurses across the third floor at The Alfred Hospital. This includes coordinating workplace assessments for post graduate students, education and training of nurses at all levels, orientation and supporting new staff. This role supports excellence in clinical practice and promotes the development of competent critical care trained nurses, ensuring the philosophy of nursing and standards of practice are consistently reflected in professional practice and patient care.
