      The Team
      The Intimate Images Protection Service team is dedicated to supporting victims of nonconsensual distribution of intimate images (NCDII) across the province. Comprising a program assistant, three caseworkers, a policy analyst, and a manager, this newly established team, launched in January 2024, is passionate, collaborative, and supportive. They work closely with staff from the civil resolution tribunal officer and other victim service and community programs to provide essential services, including the removal and deletion of intimate images and emotional support for clients.

      The Role
      The Program Assistant plays a crucial role on the Intimate Images Protection Services team by offering diverse office administrative, secretarial, project management, and financial support services. They support the team, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and efficient project execution. Their contributions are integral to maintaining organizational effectiveness.

      Qualifications:
      Education and Experience Requirements

      • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
      • Experience working in an office setting.
      • Experience in accounting and budgeting.


      Preference may be given to applicants with:

      • Experience, awareness and knowledge of the dynamics of victimization and sexual violence, and the needs of diverse range of client groups including victims and survivors of gender-based violence, youth, parents, and families.

      About this Position:
      1 Position available.
      Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 3 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
      An eligibility list may be established for future temporary and/or permanent vacancies.
