HealthLink BC delivers high quality digital and 8-1-1 telehealth service across the continuum of care to British Columbians and health care providers. Providing support to patients before, between, and after in-person community services to best support the patient in the optimization of their health; and supports health care providers in their aim to achieve the highest clinical outcome for their patients. Clinical Program Support is responsible for liaising between patients and clinical programs as they move through the triaging process, including managing patient flow, record management, supporting clinical orders relating to testing and follow up.
Job Requirements:
• Certification as a Medical Office Assistant or Nursing Unit Clerk program or equivalent; OR
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent and 2 years’ recent (within the last 5 years) experience in a clinical/medical office support role or equivalent; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience including medical terminology certification; AND
• Two (2) years’ working experience with standard computer applicationsPreference may be given to candidates with:
• Experience working with an Electronic Medical Record system or similar
• Experience using virtual platform ZOOM and Microsoft Teams
• Experience working in the health sector
