      The role

      Resource#1: Technical Project Manager
Support the VMWare-to-MaaS migration project as part of Spectro Cloud’s work with the T-Mobile platform team. This requires strong software-focused technical project management experience, ideally 5+ years, and preferably a PMP. The individual will manage project plans, risks, and dependencies across multiple engineering teams.

      Resource#2: Technical Lead
Deep expertise in VMWare and Kubernetes. This person will lead the technical execution of the migration effort; translating requirements into actionable work items, coordinating with development and migration teams, and ensuring accountability across all technical workstreams.

      Resource#3: Platform Engineer
A dedicated engineer supporting the T-Mobile platform team directly. Strong experience in Go, Python, and Terraform is required. This engineer will work in an agile environment, pulling cards and contributing hands-on to platform development and automation.

      Resource#4-6: Platform Engineer

Highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in VMware, Kubernetes, AWS, and Spectro Cloud (optional). This role will focus on designing, deploying, and managing scalable hybrid cloud environments, with an emphasis on modern container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and cloud migration strategies.

Candidates must have hands-on experience with VMware-to-KubeVirt migrations, understanding of Spectro Cloud VMO architecture (optional), and the ability to support both Linux and Windows-based systems within complex infrastructure environments.

      Key Responsibilities:
-Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure across VMware and AWS platforms.
-Lead migrations from VMware to Spectro Cloud VMO with a strong focus on KubeVirt-based virtualization. VMO up-skilling & enablement can be done on the role.
-Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters using Spectro Cloud and other automation tools.
-Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
-Apply deep VMware expertise to design resilient infrastructure and guide migration strategies.
-Provide technical leadership in VMware to KubeVirt transition processes, including VMO planning and execution.
-Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to align cloud infrastructure with operational and business goals.
-Develop and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code practices and CI/CD integrations using tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.
-Troubleshoot complex issues in hybrid and cloud-native environments, including in-depth debugging of KubeVirt and Spectro Cloud deployments.

What we need to see from you

-Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, including architecture, administration, and migrations.
-Proven knowledge of AWS core services and Kubernetes (EKS or upstream distributions).
-Experience with Spectro Cloud (optional), especially in VMware to KubeVirt migration scenarios.
-In-depth understanding of KubeVirt architecture, operation, and troubleshooting.
-Familiarity with VMO (Virtual Machine Orchestrator) concepts, architecture, and operations.
-Strong working knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems in enterprise environments.
-Solid understanding of cloud networking, storage, security best practices, and infrastructure automation.
-Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Ansible).
-Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
[Preferred: Certifications in AWS, VMware, or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).]
