- As Cloud Service Operations Engineer you will be responsible for smooth operation of Cloud hosted solutions as well as providing and documenting both solutions and root cause analysis for customer issues
- You will execute service requests and restore normal operations to PTC hosted clients as quickly as possible in the event of a critical incident
- In a global team you will collaborate with peers in other offices worldwide to provide first class support for mission-critical customers
- You will have opportunities to train, mentor, and participate in training programs
- Lead execution and client communication for critical and Enterprise-Down issues/events
- Improve continuously services in a 24x7 environment. Most of the activities will take place during regular business hours, however there will be the need for weekend and off-hour activities. Be willing to be on call in case of emergencies.
- Troubleshoot and investigate issues related to PLM applications like Windchill in Cloud-hosted environments and track the resolution of those problems in collaboration with other PTC Cloud teams and departments like R&D, etc. as well as communicate the same to customers
- Mentor junior members of the team in the areas of product knowledge and technical expertise
- Experience with Windchill, Linux can be a plus
- Expertise in at least one of the major Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google).
- Experience in implementing or supporting SaaS / Cloud-hosted multi-tier applications
- Demonstrated ability to solve analytical problems while maintaining effective and precise documentation
- Experience in Windchill PDMLink or any other 3rd party PLM system (e.g. from Dassault, Siemens, etc.)
- Programming skills (Java, JS or any other programming language)
- Optional: Experience in databases

The Support Services organization is responsible for providing a seamless PTC experience to our customers to achieve their desired outcomes and accelerate customers’ success.
As members of the Support Services organization you combine strong Product and Cloud expertise with excellent customer service to meet and even exceed customer expectations.
Your Team
You will be a part of a highly diverse PTC Cloud Services Delivery Team, which works for customers across the globe. This position requires operating from an office in Germany and primarily providing support to customers across Germany. German language skills, therefore, are a strong plus.
