- Assists Nursing staff with various tasks.
- Rooms patients.
- Takes vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate.
- Provides direct patient care.
- Interacts with patients, family members.
- Medical Abstracting duties which include extracting data from the patient chart and chart preparation in anticipation of provider office visit.
- Medical Scribe duties include assisting physicians by recording patient histories, physical examinations, treatment plans, and other relevant details into electronic health records.
- Maintains records of care given.
- Calls in medication refills under direction of physician/PA/NP.
- Conducts patient transfers within the facility.
- Performs efficient and appropriate room cleaning procedures and ensures rapid room turnover.
- Transports equipment, instruments, linen and garbage.
- Follows standard precautions and procedures for decontaminating instruments, equipment, rooms and ancillary items.
- Assists in sorting, counting, maintaining, packing, wrapping, sterilization and storing of instruments.
- Performs inventory, restocking and ordering as required.
- Performs suture removal as directed.
- Respects and maintains confidentiality.
- Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.
- Valid certification from an accredited Nursing Assistant program.
- Certified to perform CNA duties in the state where work is being done.
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- 6 months – 1-year related experience preferred.
- Must be computer literate. EPIC experience is a plus.

BayCare Clinic Cardiology is looking for a CNA or Medical Assistant to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We’re looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. This position will travel occasionally to outlying facilities. No Holidays! No Weekends!
