      Resident Assistant (RA) Position Summary:

      Van Duyn offers a unique orientation and mentoring program. We welcome you to explore the various helathcare roles available while you learn skills. We offer the Temporary Nurse Aide (TNA) certification as you work toward the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training. Your education for being a Certified Nursing Assistant is on us. You are paid as a Nurse Aide trainee and receive the education and training to successfully complete the written and clinical exams for your CNA certification.

      Resident Assistant (RA) Responsibilities and Duties
      • Patient/Resident Advocate
      • Assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) with ancillary care of the residents
      • Providing comfort to residents/patients
      • Infection prevention
      • Interacting and engaging with residents/patients and their families

      Resident Assistant (RA) Qualifications and Skills
      • Ability to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Passing score on a Reading comprehension test.

      • An eagerness to make a difference in your resident’s/patient’s lives.
