  Job Title: Lead Machinist - 2nd Shift

  Job Description

  As a Lead Machinist, you will safely and accurately operate CNC machinery to perform a variety of functions, demonstrating high skill, attention to detail, and precision. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential for success in this role. The position operates during the 2nd shift from 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM, Monday through Friday.

  Responsibilities

  • Prepare and operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, and milling.
  • Read engineering drawings and specifications to understand the task and desired results.
  • Load raw materials and parts onto machines.
  • Conduct test runs to ensure machines produce outputs according to specifications.
  • Monitor machines closely during operation and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure functionality.

  Essential Skills

  • Experience as a CNC operator with skills in CNC machinery and tooling.
  • Proficiency in precision measurement tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering documents and drawings.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
  • Attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Good communication abilities.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certificate or diploma from a CNC machining school or technical college is a plus.
  • Reliability and perfect attendance are critical.
  • Ability to pass drug and BK screening.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $54080.00/yr.
