What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and coordinate an educational plan for accurate coding and billing procedures
- Provide regularly scheduled educational seminars on coding and billing
- Research and communicate coding billing policies to physicians and staff
- Perform audits to ensure coding, billing, and documentation accuracy
- Review code change requests and advise on accurate coding for appropriate reimbursement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Extensive knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in physician coding
- Reside within 100 miles of Toledo, OH 43604
- One or more current credentials: CPC, RHIT, or RHIA
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in physician coding audits
- Strong commitment to customer service and effective interpersonal skills
