      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and evaluate medical record documentation and coding to optimize reimbursement
      - Accurately assign and sequence ICD-9-CM and CPT codes based on medical information
      - Provide technical guidance to physicians and staff to resolve coding issues
      - Audit clinical documentation to validate support for services rendered
      - Research and analyze discrepancies to recommend corrective actions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or Equivalent required
      - Associate's Degree in Finance preferred
      - Certified Professional Coder from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred
      - 0-1 year of medical coding experience preferred
      - Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT®, HCPCS, and modifiers for coding professional fee services

      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      - Strong ability to prioritize and organize work to meet strict deadlines
      - Proven skills in data analysis and problem resolution
      - Proficient with computer applications, including MS Office
      - Exceptional data entry skills
