      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Request and obtain permissions for copyrighted material to be included in educational texts
      - Negotiate fees and terms with copyright holders for permissions agreements
      - Maintain the permissions tracking database with up-to-date project status and contact information
      - Assist team members with data entry in the permissions tracking database
      - Prepare and track check requests for all projects handled by the permissions team

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree
      - Internship and/or employment experience in publishing is a plus, along with knowledge of copyright law
      - Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
      - Excellent organizational and written communication skills
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in publishing or familiarity with copyright law
