By providing organizations relief from surging healthcare costs, we've experienced rapid adoption in the market and have more than doubled our revenue annually over the last 5 years, becoming the fastest growing company in our space. To support our continued growth, we're expanding our team by over 50% each year, seeking exceptional talent to shape our unique, award winning culture (for example, USA Today Top Workplaces 2025) designed to cultivate teamwork, trust, autonomy, exceptional results, and individual growth that creates an inflection point in your career.

      About the role:

We are looking for a Commercial Counsel to join our team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play an important role in managing the Company’s commercial transactions from end-to-end, including review, drafting and negotiation of agreements, advising internal stakeholders on risks and business goals, and developing, improving and scaling processes and systems related to contract management. You will also provide generalist support for day-to-day legal issues on an as-needed basis.

      What you will do:

      • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including master service agreements, business associate agreements, vendor agreements, data use agreements, data protection agreements, partnership agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and employment-related agreements
      • Maintain and improve contract templates, approval matrices, and internal guidance relating to transactional issues
      • Manage and develop transactional processes, including contract lifecycle management, to boost efficiency and support greater scale
      • Advise internal stakeholders, primarily on commercial transactions but also on other day-to-day legal issues and challenges as needed

What you will bring to the team:

      • 3+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements
      • A J.D. from a U.S. law school and admitted to a state bar
      • No fear of technical, financial, or data science concepts
      • A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
      • Ideally, experience working in a rapidly-evolving startup environment and a desire to support our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system

      Compensation Transparency:

The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $185,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc Health and more.
