Submit insurance applications to carriers and request binding for renewals.
Rate, gather, and negotiate renewal quotes from carriers.
Prepare and input proposal details, premium, and commission info into AMS360.
Maintain and update “To Do List” and Activities/Follow Ups to ensure timely processing.
Attending carrier and internal Marketing Team meetings.
Follow Commercial Lines (CL) Marketing procedures as outlined in the Procedures Manual.
Create, update, and maintain Excel worksheets as needed.
Gather and review necessary documents like loss runs, Dec pages, and renewal applications.
Input data into carrier online rating systems and expand AMS360 training.
Collect and report monthly Top Gun results.
2-20 License – Willing to Obtain
High school diploma
Associate or bachelor’s Degree
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in Tallahassee, FL!
The purpose of this position is to support the Marketing Team. Responsible for the successful placement of commercial client insurance programs, both new and renewal, under the direction of the CL Marketing Leader. This individual will help develop and maintain close working relationships with insurance company representatives and brokers as well as agency producers and account managers within the office.
