- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and various rating portals

- Experience in insurance underwriting or brokerage
- Familiarity with surplus line markets
- Additional coursework or certifications in insurance-related subjects
