- Installation of waste, drain, and vent systems.
- Installation of water lines.
- Work with materials ranging from cast iron to plastic and copper.
- Work with and install various types of valves.
- Perform soldering and brazing.
- Install insulation, perform strapping, and test systems.
- Report to the foreman on site and follow project stages such as underground, rough, or finish plumbing.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Advanced Apprentice Plumber.
- Experience within commercial new construction or service.
- Proficiency in installing waste, drain, and vent systems, as well as water lines.
- Experience working with cast iron, plastic, copper, etc.
- Ability to perform soldering and brazing.
- Capability to follow a five-step process to complete work.
- Must have own plumbing and hand tools.
- Experience with various piping and installation techniques.
- Knowledge of commercial plumbing standards and practices.

Work Environment
Our company is based out of Hayward with projects located within a 50-mile radius. You'll primarily work within 30-35 miles of Hayward, in locations like Oakland, San Leandro, Concord, San Jose, and Palo Alto. Typical project phases last 1-2 months. You'll report to the foreman and collaborate with 2-10 colleagues on site. Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, with flexibility required for earlier or later starts. While a company vehicle is not provided, mileage reimbursement is offered for rare trips to multiple job sites in one day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
