What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage book of business by evaluating submissions and making decisions consistent with guidelines
- Maintain complete and well-organized electronic underwriting files
- Review and evaluate upcoming renewals in a thorough and timely manner
- Ongoing management of existing portfolio
- Supervise Underwriting Assistant(s)

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred
- P&C license preferred, required for California residents
- Five or more years of related experience in commercial property/casualty coverages
- Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external business relationships

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in insurance underwriting
- Strong negotiation and sales skills
- Analytical and critical problem-solving skills
