      Overview

      Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Commercial Sales Leader in Guadalajara, Mexico. In this position, you would be a key part of the Lutron Commercial team.

      A successful Commercial salesperson will develop key growth strategies, tactics and action plans to fulfill the business vision in Mexico.


      Responsibilities

      • Achieve the Sales target, and continuously look for ways to scale the business
      • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, monitor on performance, sales metrics, and channel effectiveness.
      • Establish and strengthen professional relationships with key architects, lighting designers, interior designers, MEPs, contractors, various design institutes, etc to create demand for Lutron.
      • Develop and execute channel strategies to expand the Lutron market presence in the commercial/hospitality segment and increase revenue streams
      • Manage and service existing channel partners to drive for Sales performance.
      • Actively develop new channel partners to expand business coverage in the region.
      • Lead negotiations with dealers to establish favorable terms, pricing, and promotional strategies.
      • Manage hotel jobs and Commercial jobs in the region, either by working with channel partners, or taking lead as Lutron Salesperson
      • Drive demand creation and enable the channels to operate autonomously in creating specifications through the development and execution of systematic sales activities.
      • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations and product teams to align channel strategies with overall business goals.
      • Demonstrates the ability to lead individuals with or without a reporting relationship, acts as a resource to help others resolve issues
      • Able to build plans for the territory/channel and is able to make sense of complex, ambiguous situations in the market
      • Stay aligned to Lutron’s culture and values

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field (required).
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project sales, channel development, and management (preferred).
      • Proven success and strong understanding of project sales, particularly in hotel and/or Grade A office projects.
      • Technical aptitude with expertise in building and lighting systems, including network protocols, software integration, HVAC, and building system management.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.
      • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams.
      • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including on short notice.
      • Fluent in English and Spanish
