What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support underwriting excellence for the commercial surety team, focusing on account and transactional units
- Contribute to strategy development and execution while supporting business development efforts
- Provide technical guidance and support to local teams
- Analyze and evaluate new business opportunities to ensure profitability and compliance with company standards
- Assist in managing the underwriting portfolio to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of underwriting experience in the line of business, with AFSB designation being a plus
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with experience across a range of customer industries
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in underwriting and financial analysis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

- Exposure and familiarity with credit models such as Moody's RiskCalc & CreditEdge
