Commercial Training Manager
Essity is a leading global hygiene and health company which develops, produces and sells Health & Medical, Consumer Tissue and Professional Hygiene products and solutions and has a strong global presence.
We are looking for a Commercial Training Manager, for the Middle East, Africa (MEA) & West Asia cluster. The successful incumbent may be based in İstanbul, Türkiye or Cape Town, Pinetown or Johannesburg, South Africa.
About the Role
The successful incumbent will be responsible for planning and driving the commercial capability building locally to support the sales force to implement the strategy and fully deliver on their priorities and targets. They will also be the link between the global training team and the local market. This role will report directly to the Commercial Development Manager MEA & West Asia. What You Will Do
• Conduct a local Training Need Analysis with the leadership team yearly based on global tools
• Be the link to the global training team and the single point of contact for all global programs
• Responsible for local planning, communication, and execution of global programs
• Establish, lead, and coordinate the local training resources (sales, product and clinical)
• Customize global programs: translation and localization – if needed
• Develop and deliver local programs based on identified critical local needs
• Support the local embedment of all programs
• Evaluate and follow-up, track progress and measure impact for all programs
• Keep all local stakeholders updated regarding commercial training
• Conduct co-visits regularly and be updated within the field of learning
• Assess, select, and collaborate with local training vendors, if necessary
• Leading roll-out and supporting embedment of training programs locally
• Working with KPIs to track progress and measure impact of training programs
Who You Are
• Must have a tertiary qualification (minimum degree) preferably in Commercial or Life Sciences.
• Formal training qualification and experience is an added advantage
• Must have at least 3-5 years previous sales and leadership experience in the Health & Medical sector
• Working with SMEs (subject matter experts) to localize global programs
• Using Train-the-trainer set-up to enable local delivery of programs
• Developing blended learning programs for commercial organizations
• Must have excellent presentation & engaging skills
• Should be available & eligible to travel extensively to locations within the MEA & WA cluster
• Must have excellent command of the English language (Speak, Read & Write) with the ability to interact with Sales teams and senior executive managers at local markets
