  About the role:

  Serve guest needs by assisting the Chef de Bar and superiors and complete guestrequests

  What will you do:

  • Describe the selection of beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain food & menu knowledge for items offered in the bar; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Chef de Bar using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner

  • Clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner and greet guests according to Four Seasons Standardsto ensure superiorservice.

  • Stock side stations with linens, china, glass, silver, and paper goods for service; fill requisitions of beer, liquor, soda, fruit juices, garnishes, and ice for the Chef de Bar.

  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

  • Cut and prepare fruit and other beverage garnishes.

  What you bring:

  • High School education or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum two years barservice or relatedwork

  • Ability to carry and balance tray.

  • English language and other languages are appreciated

  Schedule & Hours:

  • This is a full-time position

  • The candidate must have a flexible schedule and work also on weekends and holidays.

  This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is seasonal. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
