What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain the commission database, ensuring all data entry and maintenance are accurate
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions
- Perform detailed audits of commission statements in accordance with requirements
- Analyze commission disputes, identify, research, and reconcile discrepancies
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly commission processes, including explaining commission calculations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent analytical experience
- Experience with sales compensation calculations and reporting
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Access skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in the insurance industry
- Familiarity with Varicent Incentive Compensation Tools or similar compensation tools (e.g., Xactly, SAP Callidus)
- Prior experience using SSMS or similar database tools and/or writing SQL queries
