What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Attend cross-functional meetings and complete special projects
- Draft blog content, press releases, media pitches, memos, and letters
- Assist with daily communications on the employer's corporate social media channels
- Update and edit media lists using tools like Cision and Muck Rack
- Participate in event planning, speech preparation, and escorting news crews
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and during the internship
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Progress towards a degree, major, or minor in Communications, Public Relations, or a similar degree
- Understanding of the airline/travel industry
- At least one semester remaining at the time the internship ends
