      Description

      St. Anne Catholic Parish is looking for a part time Communications Manager to join our staff! We need a person who is a practicing Catholic with a desire to serve and become part of our community. The position will focus on managing parish communications on multiple platforms. We are looking for someone who is a proactive problem solver, highly organized, and enjoys working in a faith-filled Catholic community.

      Communications Management

      • Develop, implement, and manage a parish-wide communications and branding plan, including strategies, goals, and benchmarks that align with the mission and vision of St. Anne and the pastor.

        • Oversee, manage, and grow St. Anne’s social media platforms and content.

        • Maintains regular parish communications, including weekly email newsletter, bulletin, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube

        • Contribute to developing, writing, and editing content across multiple platforms, including social media, email marketing and campaigns, and printed materials.

      • Collaborate in the development of fliers, graphics, and other materials.

      • Update and maintain the parish website, working collaboratively with Pastor, Director of Parish Operations, and other ministries to keep content current and fresh. The website should serve as an effective evangelization tool.

      • Manage major communications projects including stewardship campaigns and Partners in the Gospel.

      • Lead the parishioner Communications Team. Recruit parishioners and manage the team in project development and execution.

      • Coach and assist other staff members on communication materials.

      • Coordinate with staff and parish ministries to proactively promote parish events, activities, and outreach efforts.

      • Meet monthly with the Pastor and Director of Parish Operations to assess communication plans and needs.

      • Maintain physical postings and bulletin boards on church property to ensure the parish campus is clean, welcoming, and free from clutter.

      • Other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications


      Experience/Qualifications/Requirements

      • Practicing Catholic who is mission-oriented, willing to serve, and be part of the St. Anne

      • community. Participate in staff prayer, staff activities, and staff development.

      • Proficient with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and familiarity with database systems. Proficient with Adobe Suite, Canva.

      • Proficient user and developer of social media content.

      • Proficient in graphic design, for web and print. Experienced working with print vendors.

      • Video and production experience is desired.

      • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

      • Attend weekend Masses and major parish events. Some evening and weekend work is required, including holiday and Holy Day work.

      Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
