What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess community needs in Chatham County to identify and support vulnerable populations
- Identify and build partnerships with local organizations related to food insecurity, housing, and health
- Integrate partnerships into planning, readiness, response, and recovery activities
- Support implementation of Community Adaptation initiatives and engage with partners
- Maintain accurate records and reports on partner engagement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience
- In-depth knowledge of community disaster risk reduction
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Residence in or near Lake County
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual proficiency
- Experience in community mobilization and disaster recovery
