- Ensuring a relentless focus on our Lambeth 2030 aspirations with collective ownership and improved delivery of priorities, driven by a strong centre
- Bringing people together across the Council to tackle and make progress against shared priorities, including our commitment to becoming a Borough of Equity & Justice
- Coordinating a more joined up offer to the community around engagement, funding, access to help and support that puts our communities, their experiences and outcomes to the forefront of our approach
- Injecting challenge into the system, ensuring robust governance and delivering change

Communities, Governance & Change Directorate:
A new Communities, Governance & Change Directorate has been established to strengthen capacity and resource at the centre of the Council in order deliver on our Lambeth 2030 ambitions, including:
Working alongside a talented, professional group of staff that are dedicated, ambitious and focussed, we are looking to recruit to a number of key roles to help us deliver our ambitions:
In this role no two days will be the same. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can work sympathetically to support community networks, developing positive relationships with colleagues to make this happen. Equally, you will be confident supporting the design and analysis of surveys and other engagement tools to ensure that we hear the views of Lambeth’s diverse communities.
