      SO1: Starting salary £37,575 pa, rising in annual increments to £38,769 per annum incl LW

      1 x Secondment / Fixed Term contract

      About the Team:

      To assist Lambeth council in its duty to undertake tasked and proactive patrols, with the primary role of carrying out focused and high levels of enforcement and investigation activities across the borough, addressing issues of crime and disorder, anti-social behaviour, nuisance, environmental issues, and other offences; in line with the Lambeth Made Safer, Lambeth Made Communities and Violence Against Women and Girls strategies. We have an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about their community.

      About the Role:

      This role will mean working across several council services to provide support in carrying out enforcement duties, engaging with the community and implementing safety measures to Lambeth residents. The post holder will be professional and have excellent communication skills, be skilled at influencing others to improve standards, have experience in conflict management and confident in working alone or as part of a team. They will be responsible for undertaking a range of systems and administrative duties within the role, additionally, they will be required to use the current information databases efficiently and effectively. A knowledge of the government legislation is desirable but not mandatory and the post holder should be prepared to work outside of normal hours, working evenings and occasional weekend working.
