What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Launch and scale Dispatch Clubs nationwide, serving as the primary point of contact for club organizers
- Monitor club health metrics and provide support to enhance engagement and sustainability
- Plan and execute official Dispatch events in collaboration with various teams
- Oversee the Dispatch Juntos platform, ensuring it functions properly and meets member needs
- Develop and implement member engagement programs beyond Dispatch Clubs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-2+ years of experience in building and managing communities, either online or in-person
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to motivate and engage volunteers
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously
- Self-starter who can make sound judgments and work independently
- Experience planning and executing live events
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience managing volunteer organizers or distributed community leaders
- Background in media, journalism, or mission-driven organizations
- Familiarity with community platforms like Discord and Slack
- Experience with sponsorship or event revenue generation
- Previous work in politically engaged communities, with the ability to navigate diverse viewpoints
