      OVERVIEW

      Alera Group is looking for a Community Outreach Representative. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      The Community Outreach Representative is responsible for generating qualified Medicare and Covered California leads through community-based outreach activities, events, and educational
      opportunities throughout Southern California. This role serves as the primary on-site representative at approved community events, ensuring compliant engagement, professional brand representation, and effective lead capture to support enrollment growth.

      • Identify, coordinate, attend, and professionally represent the organization at approved community events, health fairs, and outreach activities

      • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, event organizers, and local organizations

      • Generate, capture, and qualify Medicare and Covered California leads in compliance with CMS and Covered California guidelines, providing high-level education (no plan-specific sales)

      • Ensure full compliance with all marketing regulations by using approved materials and maintaining accurate documentation of outreach and leads

      • Track event performance and lead outcomes, provide regular reporting, and coordinate logistics with internal teams and contracted agents


      QUALIFICATIONS

      • High school diploma or equivalent

      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

      • Comfortable engaging with seniors and diverse communities

      • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for events

      • Strong organizational and time management skills

      • Bilingual preferred (Spanish a plus)
