Doling Family Center is open seven days a week and houses a full array of facility amenities including cardio and strength training equipment, fitness classes for all ages and abilities, a basketball/volleyball gym, walking track, game room, community meeting spaces, and an indoor aquatics center.

Experience, Education, and Training

• Four years of experience developing and supervising recreational programs;

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Business Administration, or a closely related area;

• The equivalent of two years of full-time experience/four years of part-time experience working with the Springfield-Greene County Park Board in a related role.

• Any combination of education and experience as outlined that equals four total years meets minimum qualifications.
• Experience must be commensurate with specialty program area required for current vacancy.

Licensing/Certification

• If operating a motor vehicle for the purpose of completing job duties, must possess a valid driver's license;

• Certified Parks & Recreation Professional (CPRP)
