What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate referrals for various levels of behavioral health care for patients awaiting treatment across multiple departments
- Monitor system-wide capacity to guide placement efforts effectively
- Communicate and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams within and outside the organization
- Document and track tasks in medical records and assist with data collection and reporting
- Provide coverage for tasks related to admissions, bed searches, and support inpatient throughput
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, or Health Care
- Experience in the mental health care field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong judgment and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Familiarity with mental health treatments, systems of care, and community resources
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in high-stress, fast-paced environments
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Previous remote working experience
