What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate referrals for various levels of behavioral health care for patients awaiting treatment
- Monitor system-wide capacity to guide placement efforts across emergency departments and inpatient units
- Communicate and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams both within and outside of the employer
- Document and track tasks in medical records and assist with data collection and analysis
- Respond promptly to calls, emails, and chats from system-wide stakeholders regarding behavioral health
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, or Health Care
- Experience in the mental health care field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
