What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze job positions and accurately classify them within the company's job and pay framework
- Consult with stakeholders to determine appropriate job classifications for employees
- Maintain accurate and concise job descriptions
- Administer compensation programs, including annual merit and bonus cycles
- Provide guidance on compensation-related actions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- 4+ years of professional compensation experience in a mid-to-large sized organization
- Strong experience in job evaluation and job documentation
- Proficiency in computerized office applications, with excellent database and spreadsheet skills
- Interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships at various levels of seniority
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CCP designation or progress toward certification
- Experience at a public organization
- Prior experience with Workday Core HCM and Workday Compensation module
- Familiarity with Payfactors or MarketPay compensation management platforms
- Strong analytical skills and ability to drive improved decision-making in business contexts
