      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct scheduled and unplanned audits on medical record documentation to ensure compliance with coding and billing requirements
      - Mentor and provide guidance to Compliance Auditors while performing quality assurance on peer work products
      - Lead compliance education initiatives for facility and professional billing, including audit feedback sessions
      - Develop and implement corrective action plans following root cause analyses of compliance issues
      - Prepare responses for governmental audits and manage the appeals process for findings

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum educational requirement: Associate's Degree in a related field
      - Minimum of 7 years of related work experience
      - Certification in one of the following: CCS, CPC, RHIA, RHIT, or CPMA
      - Strong communication and critical thinking skills
      - Proficiency in medical billing and coding practices

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in conducting compliance audits in a healthcare setting
      - Familiarity with federal payor billing compliance guidelines
      - Previous experience in training and educating staff on compliance matters
      - Ability to perform root cause analyses and develop improvement plans
