What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and audit internal departments, contracted network provider agencies, and vendors for compliance with regulations and contractual requirements
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with health care determinations based on NCQA standards and federal/state laws
- Perform internal monitoring activities of departmental performance based on regulations
- Ensure timelines are met and documented for compliance-related tasks
- Provide technical assistance on compliance monitoring issues and communicate rule/regulation changes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in behavioral health/mental health, substance abuse, or developmental disabilities; OR
- Associate’s degree and four (4) years of relevant experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum two (2) years of relevant experience; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reside within North Carolina
- Ability to travel within the catchment area as required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in public speaking, mediation, problem resolution, group facilitation, advocacy, regulations compliance, and project management
- CHC, AFHI, CFE, and fully licensed in the State of NC (LCMHC, LMFT, LCWS, LCAS, or RN)
