What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory matters related to small business and SBA lending
- Interpret complex laws, rules, and regulations, and communicate necessary changes to business partners
- Provide regulatory support and guidance during compliance examinations
- Analyze existing policies and controls to identify compliance gaps and provide effective challenges
- Create reports for management on compliance reviews and legal changes, ensuring necessary actions are communicated

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Audit, or Banking, OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in the same fields
- Advanced knowledge of compliance risk, regulations, and laws specific to small business and SBA lending
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proficient in compliance risk identification, assessment, and management
- Ability to stay updated on current or changing regulations affecting the banking sector

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, research, and organizational skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
