      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct on-site surveys, audits, and reviews of clinical and treatment facilities
      - Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal rules and regulations
      - Coordinate investigations involving noncompliance in healthcare facilities
      - Develop and evaluate the surveillance of the utilization review process
      - Maintain records on compliance and plan outcome studies based on findings

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED
      - Three (3) years of job-related experience, or two (2) years at the lower level Compliance Specialist 1
      - Some positions may require a valid driver's license
      - Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
      - Ability to produce high-quality documentation with attention to detail

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Master's degree in a related field or Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience
      - Certification(s) in healthcare-related fields
      - Clinical experience in home health, hospice, or any licensed healthcare facility
      - Strong communication and narrative report-writing skills
      - Experience in utilization review and quality assurance in healthcare
