What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the maintenance, optimization, and oversight of data infrastructure ensuring effective system performance
- Assist in monitoring, updating, and maintaining data tables in both classified and unclassified environments
- Participate in the design and implementation of data pipelines for efficient and secure data flow
- Collaborate with teams to enable data productization, AI/ML initiatives, and automation projects
- Assist in Incident Response and System Recovery efforts during outages or discrepancies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in data analysis, data engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms for data storage and retrieval
- Exposure to SQL database technologies with the ability to write simple queries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying system inefficiencies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification may be required
- Familiarity with Apache Spark or comparable distributed data processing frameworks
- Working knowledge of data governance platforms and cloud-based analytics solutions
- Hands-on experience with modern BI tools for data visualization
- Awareness of data access control best practices
