What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and maintain the organization's data tables to ensure optimal data flow and system performance
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in classified and unclassified environments
- Develop and refine data pipelines for seamless integration across multiple data sources and platforms
- Oversee data quality assurance measures and implement access controls in compliance with security standards
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency with SQL database systems and data modeling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient code in Python and SQL for building and optimizing data pipelines
- Strong background in Agile project delivery, including experience with Jira or similar tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification may be required
- Familiarity with Apache Spark or comparable distributed data processing frameworks
- Working knowledge of data governance platforms and cloud-based analytics solutions
- Hands-on experience with modern BI tools for data visualization
- Awareness of data access control best practices and familiarity with access control frameworks
