What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the construction and timely turnover of new locations
- Review, manage, and approve vendor invoices while tracking against project budget
- Monitor project schedules and implement acceleration strategies as necessary
- Manage activities of the Assistant Construction Project Manager
- Collaborate with internal teams for successful project execution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in project management on the owner or general contractor side
- Strong feedback skills to evaluate external vendor performance
- Ability to provide performance improvement strategies
- Physical capability to lift/push objects over 10 lbs and operate heavy equipment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in managing construction projects in a hospitality setting
- Familiarity with construction industry standards and regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication skills to interface with various stakeholders
- Knowledge of scheduling software or project management tools
