What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage critical infrastructure maintenance and repairs across retail locations, including HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain building integrity
- Oversee project execution from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to coordinate schedules and manage project costs
- Participate in design development to align project documents with constructability and cost requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience in project management and construction
- Ability to travel up to 80% based on project workload
- Advanced understanding of retail grocery fixtures and food service equipment
- Experience in negotiating commercial contracts and managing change orders
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Smartsheet, Salesforce, Procore, and similar project management tools
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work in ambiguous environments
- General knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Previous experience in retail operations or program management
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead special projects
