JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for winning senior level executive search assignments, representing company in the market, and executing assignments to the highest standards of quality. Specific duties include: establishing client networks within the Industrial and Agricultural sectors by offering business and client support outside of the specific domain; developing client networks and monitoring existing clients to ensure that Spencer Stuart continues to be viewed as the executive search partner of choice; establishing senior executive teams to ensure best team representation and market; leading search assignments and value-added consultations to strategize and adjust search processes; liaising functional and international appointments with clients to develop trust-based relationships and support specified executive search requirements; establishing Spencer Stuart’s advisory services, including executive assessment, executive succession, and board effectiveness; and monitoring Spencer Stuart’s Agribusiness and Commodity sectors to ensure high visibility of client recognition and excellent knowledge and talents. Developing candidates’ executive knowledge and client relationships: leading the client design initiatives to proactively extend Spencer Stuart’s knowledge of senior executives. Supporting the firm’s contribution in the marketing sector: developing the marketing contribution of Industrial and Agriculture Practices to define capital prospects, business opportunities, and specified practice support; disseminating executive search knowledge to work closely with associates and management teams; and developing internal network and client supports to further strengthen Spencer Stuart’s practices. REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration or related field. Must have 5 years of experience in the job offered or related role in executive search within professional services industries. Travel within the United States and internationally is required 2-3 times per month to meet with clients, attend industry events and internal and external meetings. Must have:

1. Experience with database management systems to store, modify, review, and analyze company information.

2. Domain expertise in the Energy, Infrastructure, Natural Resources, and Agricultural and Commodities sector to enhance client relationships.
3. Experience with Business Development, generating long-term relationships with clients/customers.
4. Expertise in the broader Industrial segment with a focus on Agriculture and Commodities.
5. Planning executive search processes and determining appropriate search methodologies, tools, and technologies;
6. Conducting in-depth assessments of business experiences and professional competencies/capabilities of top executive talent.
