What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide services to influence profitability and retention by creating and recommending service objectives based on customer goals and risk assessments
- Conduct complex risk assessments to identify hazards and exposures, making technically sound recommendations for risk improvement
- Research customer operations and industry information to prepare for site surveys and meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners, serving as a key resource for risk consultation
- Communicate technical information effectively through the preparation of detailed reports and presentations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in safety, science, engineering, fire protection, or construction management preferred
- Minimum of one professional designation such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate of Risk Management (ARM)
- Typically, 10 or more years of commercial loss control or related experience
- General knowledge of safety and risk management practices and principles
- Ability to prioritize work and time while using personal computer systems effectively

- Experience in the senior living industry
- Strong relationship, marketing, and consulting skills
- Desire to learn, grow, and develop skills in the field
- Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse levels of contacts
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as OSHA and NFPA
