What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define and execute a business development plan to establish lead-generating partnerships with national distributors
- Build and maintain productive relationships with key leaders within target consulting firms
- Coordinate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Client Services, and Operations to manage partner needs and expectations
- Design a data-driven approach to monitor the success of national partnerships, including contracting targets and relationship health
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key consulting partners, directly impacting business scaling
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in the employee benefits consulting space
- 5+ years of experience in consultant/broker relationship management with national midmarket employer health benefits consultants and brokers
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines
- Established relationships within the employee benefits consultant space and knowledge of major firms’ operations
- Willingness to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment
