What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Guide and support the Scholar Coordinator team with scholar communication and coordination
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prior to award seasons and ensure team compliance
- Oversee the onboarding process and completion of necessary documentation for scholars
- Monitor and resolve scholar issues while maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders
- Manage the SMART inbox and general phone line, providing guidance and support to the team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative, academic, customer service, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work well in a team environment and in a fast-paced setting while meeting deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience managing a team
- Federal and/or Department of Defense experience
- Experience working in an academic environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Professional
